We are proud that many think of Julienne as the perfect setting for such special occasions as holiday fetes, rehearsal dinners and "milestone" birthdays. We welcome you to rent either the entire restaurant or the intimate Library Dining Room for these or any other cause for celebration.
Your guests will appreciate the tranquility of our tree-lined residential location, as well as the pleasure of having the entire restaurant to themselves. Guests gather under the graceful arches of our ivy-covered arcade to enjoy wine and hors d'oeuvres as we handle every detail behind the scenes.
Because we do not offer dinner service, please expect to spend a minimum of $3,000 to open the restaurant exclusively for your party. This includes food, wine, attentive service and warm, inviting ambiance complete with twinkling lights and music. However, your menu and wine selections will determine your final bill.
We can accommodate buffet or sit-down dinners, and stand-up cocktail parties. Dinner menus include four courses: passed hors d'oeuvres, appetizer, entrée and dessert. A sample menu might include a chicken entrée starting at $75 per head, such as Breast of Chicken with Parmesan Proscuitto Soubise and Dijon Sauce; or Rack of Lamb with Pistachio Crust and Port Shiitake Mushroom Sauce, starting at $95 per head.
Reservation Policies:
The following requirements apply to the exclusive use of Julienne Restaurant:
- Event Sites:
Restaurant Patio: Due to our limited interior space, seating for larger special events is on our covered patio, accommodating up to 55 guests. For a stand-up cocktail party a minimum of 30 and up to 150 may mingle comfortably throughout the entire restaurant.
During cooler months our overhead heaters keep the patio warm, but you may consider advising your guests to dress warmly or to bring a wrap. We are happy to recommend a rental agency to supply additional heaters if you find it necessary. Unfortunately the patio archways cannot be tented in the event of wet weather.
Library Dining Room: We invite you to host an elegant evening affair appropriate for intimate dinners with family, friends and clients. The wood paneled dining room is adorned with gilded mirrors, book-lined shelves and a custom mural on the ceiling. The Dining Room can accommodate a minimum of 12 and a maximum of 16 guests.
- Deposit: A $500 deposit is required when you make your reservation, which will be applied to the final bill.
Holiday Schedule (Nov. 20-Dec.31): Due to the large volume of holiday party reservations and out of respect for other prospective patrons, we require a non-refundable $1,000 deposit to be charged at the time of reservation, which will be applied toward the total bill.
- Cancellations: Because we are holding this date exclusively for your party, we require notification 14 business days prior to your event should you need to cancel. If you cancel after this deadline, the $500 deposit will not be refunded.

- Wine Estimate: We invite you to select from our boutique wine list, with prices starting at $15 per bottle.
- Corkage: Our wine selection has been carefully chosen to best complement our food. However, outside wine is allowed for a $16 per bottle corkage fee.
- Cake Cutting: Our Cuisine To Go menu offers
a variety of "Celebration Cakes" that we are happy to serve
you and your guests. Cakes may be ordered through the Gourmet
Market. A fee of $1.50 per guest will be added for the cutting
and plating of any outside desserts.
- Gratuity: A 20% gratuity will be added to the total. The State Board of Equalization requires sales tax on all food, labor and service charges.
- Final Count: To adequately prepare for your event, we require a final guest count 3 business days prior to your arrival. In the event that fewer guests arrive, you will be billed according to this final count. Any additional guests will be added to the bill at the same rate.
- Decorations: We ask that you respect the décor and limit your decorations to floral arrangements for the table. We are happy to recommend a florist with whom you may directly make arrangements.
- Parking: Ample free parking is available in front of the restaurant, in the corner and back lots, as well as on surrounding residential streets.
