The following requirements apply for the exclusive use of the
Library Dining Room:
-Availability: Monday-Friday only for parties of 11-16.
We do not accept reservations for Saturdays. We take reservations
for Breakfast from 7am-9am and Lunch at 11:30am or after 1:00pm.
-Room Charge: We require a non-refundable room charge of
$150 for exclusive use of the Library during Lunch Service. This
fee secures your reservation, and is not applied towards food,
beverages, tax or service. While there is no charge for the room
during Breakfast Service, all other criteria is applicable.
-Credit Card: We will need a credit card in order to guarantee
your reservation.
-Final Count: To adequately prepare for your event, we
require a final guest count 24 hours prior to your arrival.
-"No Shows": If fewer than 11 guests arrive, we reserve
the right to share the room with other parties and no room charge
will apply.
-Personalized Menus: We are happy to print a special menu
for each place setting listing your selections. In order to better
serve you, please select 3-5 Entree items. We strongly recommend
a first course Soup or Salad as your Entrees will take at least
30 minutes to prepare. We are happy to offer a festive glass of
Champagne or Wine as your guests arrive; please refer to our wine
list for prices and selections.
-Cancellations: As a courtesy to other customers who would
like to reserve the room, please call as soon as possible should
you need to cancel. In the event that no one shows for your event
within 15 minutes of the scheduled reservation, the $150 room
fee will be charged to the Credit Card number on file.
-Decorations: We ask that you respect the decor and limit
your decorations to floral arrangements for the table. You may
contact our florist, Jerry Palmer, to make floral arrangements
(626) 399-2774.
-Corkage: Our wine selection has been carefully chosen
to best complement our food. However, outside wine is welcome
for a $12.00 per bottle corkage fee.
-Cake Cutting: Our Cuisine-To-Go menu offers a variety
of "Celebration Cakes" that we are happy to serve you and your
guests. A one-time $15.00 fee will be added for the cutting and
plating of any outside desserts.
-Gratuity: An automatic 20% gratuity will be added to your
total bill.
-Meetings: The intent of the Library is to offer an intimate
environment for your dining pleasure. It is not designed for business
meetings or presentations.
