Julienne grew out of a home catering business back in the 1970s, long before it was “glamorous” to work in the food business. While my mother cooked from our home kitchen, my sisters and I cleaned up and loaded the family wagon. Over the years, as her clientele “snowballed,” space was rented in a quiet neighborhood with other boutique shops.
Thirty years and 3 store expansions later, Julienne has grown from a café with 3 tables to a larger café, with patio dining, and has a store dedicated to prepared foods, specialty foods and gifts related to home and entertaining.
Founder Susan Campoy, my mother, never would have imagined Julienne has become today. However, she had the courage and passion to lay the groundwork for Julienne, set high expectations and reached out to the community. I joined the burgeoning business just a few years after it started. After 26 years, it is still a joy and a pleasure to come to work. I love the dedication of the staff. I love the loyalty and the enthusiasm of our customers. I love how we’ve matured, overcome challenges, and have great pride in what we produce every single day. Our strength is in the consistency of food and service, which makes people come back time and again. And for that, all of us at Julienne are most grateful.
Thank you for allowing us to serve you for 30 glorious years! We appreciate your steadfast patronage.
