What is Julienne? And what’s a Superette anyway?

A Superette is a new way of thinking about an old concept, akin to a luxury convenience store, where you can find everything you need for gracious living in one place: prepared foods, specialty gourmet-tinned fish!, wine, gifts, cards, table décor, scented candles, faux flowers. You can pick up a new seasonal wreath for your front door, find a gift for a friend, shop for holiday home décor (not just Christmas, but truly, every holiday!) order a birthday cake, have a light lunch on the patio, pick up dinner and wine, and then stock up on frozen soups, pot pies and scone dough.
A Superette is highly curated by the owner, who is likely independent, local and on-site welcoming customers and showing their latest finds.

The full service restaurant with white tablecloths and waiter service is reserved for our popular and elegant Thursday Dinners, Saturday Brunch, Sunday Tea and special holiday dinners.
The Café continues to offer all-day breakfast and lunch. Please seat yourself and then order at the Café Counter. The Patio is a very pleasant spot to enjoy a quiet time solo or with a few friends. Tables are open seating—we do not hold tables nor take reservations for breakfast or lunch.

What can I get order in the Café?

The Café Menu features some of our tried and true favorites over 35 years! Quiche, salads, sandwiches, soup and the ever popular breakfast burrito and chilaquiles. On the sweeter side, try the chocolate chip waffles or the decadent Crème Brulee Bread Pudding.

Can I make a reservation?

Yes, for Thursday Night Dinners, Saturday All Day Dining and Sunday Tea, but not for breakfast or lunch in the Café.

Can I host a party or event
at Julienne?

Yes! Julienne is a charming and intimate location ideal for small weddings, milestone birthdays, Celebrations of Life and more. We have hosted memorable corporate events/product launches/customer appreciation dinners during both evening and daytime. Please click here to read the pricing, menus, details. And honestly, an abundance of free parking is always a nice amenity to offer your guests! We do our very best to make you feel like a guest at your own party.

Do you deliver?

At this time, we are not affiliated with any national third party delivery service. We do recommend Pasadena Courier, a local service, and suggest that you call them directly for pricing and arrangements.
Do you offer Corporate Gifting?

Yes! We have many wonderful gifts for every season! Of course, Julienne baked goods are always a treat. We are happy to discuss customization and pricing options We offer in-store pick up only, no delivery. Please email your request and we will do our best to find just the right gift for your clients.

Do you rent for photo shoots?

Yes, provided with enough lead time, we are happy to discuss the options. Please email manager@julienne.us for our day rates, buy out and details.
